1. §(145-1) Хвали, душа моя, Господа.
УПО: Алілуя! Хвали, душе моя, Господа,
KJV: Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.
2. (145-2) Буду восхвалять Господа, доколе жив; буду петь Богу моему, доколе есмь.
УПО: хвалитиму Господа, поки живу, співатиму Богу моєму, аж поки існую!
KJV: While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.
3. (145-3) Не надейтесь на князей, на сына человеческого, в котором нет спасения.
УПО: Не надійтесь на князів, на людського сина, бо в ньому спасіння нема:
KJV: Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
4. (145-4) Выходит дух его, и он возвращается в землю свою: в тот день исчезают [все] помышления его.
УПО: вийде дух його і він до своєї землі повертається, того дня його задуми гинуть!
KJV: His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
5. §(145-5) Блажен, кому помощник Бог Иаковлев, у кого надежда на Господа Бога его,
УПО: Блаженний, кому його поміч Бог Яковів, що надія його на Господа, Бога його,
KJV: Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:
6. (145-6) сотворившего небо и землю, море и все, что в них, вечно хранящего верность,
УПО: що небо та землю вчинив, море й усе, що є в них, що правди пильнує навіки,
KJV: Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:
7. (145-7) творящего суд обиженным, дающего хлеб алчущим. Господь разрешает узников,
УПО: правосуддя вчиняє покривдженим, що хліба голодним дає! Господь в'язнів розв'язує,
KJV: Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:
8. (145-8) Господь отверзает очи слепым, Господь восставляет согбенных, Господь любит праведных.
УПО: Господь очі сліпим відкриває, Господь випростовує зігнутих, Господь милує праведних!
KJV: The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:
9. (145-9) Господь хранит пришельцев, поддерживает сироту и вдову, а путь нечестивых извращает.
УПО: Господь обороняє приходьків, сироту та вдовицю підтримує, а дорогу безбожних викривлює!
KJV: The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.
10. (145-10) Господь будет царствовать во веки, Бог твой, Сион, в род и род. Аллилуия.
УПО: Хай царює навіки Господь, Бог твій, Сіоне, із роду у рід! Алілуя!
KJV: The LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the LORD.
